Wedding Recap #4 - The Party!

After the ceremony, pictures and cocktail hour came the reception.  We started with our parents, followed by our bridal party and then us entering the room.  The parents and bridal party entered in to the song from the Peanuts cartoons.  Teddy and I then entered in to the Throne Room from Star Wars.

Teddy and I then went over to cut the cake.  This ended up being more important than I thought.  This was the only cake I ate all evening!

We then settled in for dinner.  Uncle Tim started off with a blessing.  Then during the 1st and 2nd course Sara and Jim said their respective speeches.  Both speeches were so wonderful, and I can't wait to get the video to listen to them again.

After our yummy dinner Teddy and I started to make the rounds to thank everyone for coming.  We got about 1/3rd through before we had to pause for our first dance.  We danced to Michael Buble's Everything.  Teddy even dipped me at the end.

Dad and I then danced to Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder

And Teddy and his mom danced to Song for My Son by by Mikki Viereck.

After these dances, it didn't take long for the dance floor to fill with everyone cutting a rug!  I don't think the dance floor was empty at any point in the night.

Teddy and I had a fabulous time visiting with friends and family, while we danced the night away.  It was a great party!
