Teddy started his day at home hanging out with Jim, his best man. Jim had instructions from me on a gift that I left hidden at home for Teddy. The first gift I got him was a new Lego watch. Anyone that knows Teddy well, knows his love of Legos, especially Star Wars Legos. So, I got him a Lego watch with Han Solo and Luke Skywalker dressed as Storm Troopers, all Lego of course. Here are some pictures Jim captured of him opening and modeling his watch (Thanks Jim!)
The other gift I got for him was new sunglasses for Hawaii. I thought he would like a new pair for the big trip. Here he is modeling them.
Then Ben and Anthony arrived to head over to the hotel together to finish getting ready. These guys look ready for some fun.
The guys all met in someone's hotel room and finished getting ready together. Everyone was in a classic tux and looked so nice.
Steve is looking very GQ modeling his tux. Seems like he was first to be ready.
Jon's working through the great debate, to shave the beard or not (PS - Jon, I wouldn't have cared if you kept it.)
Anthony is prepping himself for the tie. I think he likes it...maybe not
And here is Benno, as a ninja warrior, wearing his cummberbund on his head - that's our Benno. Gotta love him!
And Jim being the dutiful best man breaks out the iron. These guys are just the best.
So, after all that hard work getting spiffed up, they clean up pretty good. Here they all are looking mighty fine and very James Bond in their tuxes.
Mark, Ben, Steve, Teddy, Jim, Anthony & Jon - wait a minute....we're missing one. Kris! Where are you?
Well, Kris was with the guys at Ruffled Feathers, so he must have met up with them later. On we go...
The shuttle bus ride to Ruffled Feathers
Jim rounding everyone up for pictures
The guys staying put hanging out having a few beers. Wait...There's Kris!
A few pictures snapped and the guys were hanging around ready for the ceremony to get started. For some reason there isn't a picture of all 7 of them together, there is at least one missing from everyone of these pre ceremony shots, but that's ok, between these next two pictures, I got them all.
These guys are amazing friends. They've all known Teddy for decades, and I have known some of them for at least one decade. If it wasn't for some of these guys, I wouldn't have ever met Teddy. They've been such great friends to both of us and we were so thrilled they could be part of our day. Each played a key role, one of which was getting Teddy there on time (not on Teddy time as Jim discussed in his speech.). Good work on that! :) We hope you all know how much you mean to us. Thank you for everything, we love you.
Next up....the girls!
